How to clear „Cache”, „Cookies” or „Temporary Internet Files”?


     Clearing the Cache and Cookies in a browser helps to fix issues, which cause errors on a webpage if portal has got any changes of design or functionality. If cache is not cleared, browser will use old data instead of new, what can cause errors. Clearing the Cache and Cookies can fix these errors.

Sometimes it is necessary to clear the Cache more than once.

Google Chrome 38.0

  • Select the Tools icon ,
  • Click Settings,

  • Click Show advanced settings,

  • Under "Privacy," click Clear browsing data,

  • Select the following checkboxes:
         Empty the cache
         Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data

  • Click Clear browsing data,
  • Close and restart your browser.

Mozilla Firefox 33.0

  • Select the Tools   icon and choose History,

  • Click Clear Recent History,

  • In the "Time range to clear" drop-down menu, select Everything,
  • Next to "Details," click the down arrow,
  • Select the following checkboxes:
         Active Logins

  • Click Clear Now,
  • Close and restart your browser.

Internet Explorer 11

  • Select Tools  and choose Internet Options,

  • Under "Browsing history," click Delete,

  • Select the following checkboxes:
         Temporary Internet files and web site files
         Cookies and web site data

  • Click Delete,
  • Click OK,
  • Close and restart your browser.
